Our "get to know you" event, the complimentary NATEAC Harbor Cruise is a relaxing three hour trip around the New York Harbor on the newly outfittted Spirit Cruise Line. Enjoy complimentary h’ors d’oeuvres and a selections of buffet items. There will be a cash bar.

Private buses will be available after the cruise for those who wish to return to the hotel.

By popular demand we are having our post conference dinner at Sardi's on 7/23 @ 7pm  In the heart of New York's Theater District, Sardi's has been the toast of Broadway for 90 years. Located at 234 West 44th Street it is an easy walk from the Hilton.

Hugh HardyRenowned architect Hugh Hardy will give the closing speech of the North American Theatre Engineering and Architecture Conference (NATEAC). Mr. Hardy, a leader in the planning and design of active public spaces throughout North America, has been responsible for the design of numerous performance spaces including LCT3 at Lincoln Center, Radio City Music Hall, Brooklyn Academy, Signature Theatre, NYC and The Tobacco Warehouse in Brooklyn, NY.

Among the many awards Hugh and his firm, H3 Hardy Collaborative Architecture, have recently received are the Society of American Registered Architects National Design Award, Interior Architecture Category, for the DiMenna Center for Classical Music, and the AIA Tri-State Design Award for the Tobacco Warehouse.


Discounted Show Tickets Sunday July 22, 2012
   We've arranged for NATEAC attendees to purchase discounted tickets to Cirque du Soleil's "Zarkana" at
Radio City Music Hall and "Rock of Ages" at the Helen Hayes Theatre.

Both shows are on Sunday night. Tickets for Zarkana are $95.00 and Rock of Ages are $105.00 (a 25% discount from the box office price). Contact bill@nateac.org for more information

Theater Tours Tuesday July 24, 2012
  The back stage tours, which take place on Tuesday morning, begin at Radio City Music Hall at 8:00 am. The tour will last 2 hours after which we'll bus you over to Lincoln Center. Our first stop at Lincoln Center is Alice Tully Hall and then we'll go backstage at the grand dame of the Center, the Metropolitan Opera House.
