Eric Seifert is principal of Harmonic Design LLC, an independent acoustics consulting practice based in northern New Jersey. In a rather brief 20 years as an acoustics consultant, Eric has provided design guidance on performance and entertainment venues throughout North America and Europe, buildings serving the hospitality industry, museums, a stadium or two, recording and production facilities for the music and film industry, and numerous facilities for ministries across the United States.
Prior to starting Harmonic Design, Eric was a principal at Acoustic Dimensions, and served as a managing director of Artec Consultants, where he got his start as an acoustics consultant. His work with those firms included the development of new concert halls in Switzerland, Iceland, and Denmark, the ATT Athlete’s Pavilion for the Atlanta Olympics, the “Hard Rock Live” performance venue and Universal Studios “Citywalk” in Orlando, and renovation/restoration of the Metropolitan Theater for the Brooklyn Tabernacle Church.
Current work includes new facilities for Victory Gardens Theater in Chicago, renovations to several buildings at Princeton University, a new 4000-seat sanctuary for Flatirons Community Church outside Denver, and various projects with Walt Disney Imagineering.
Eric is a member of the Acoustical Society of America, the United States Institute for Theater Technology, Audio Engineering Society, and is an Allied Member of the American Institute of Architects.
