Stan Pressner’s designs can be found in the repertoires of, among others: New York City Ballet, Bayerische Staatsoper, Lyon Opera Ballet, Stockholm Staadteater, Geneva Opera Ballet, Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane, Ralph Lemon and Company, Bayerische Staadtsballet, Boston Ballet, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, Stephen Petronio and Dancers, and Netherlands Dance Theatre. Recent work includes: Robert Bly’s new translation of Peer Gynt at the Guthrie, Twelfth Night and Measure for Measure -Shakespeare’s Globe, La Clemenza de Tito, Abduction From The Seraglio and Rake’s Progress - Munich Staadtsoper, Mikhail Baryshnikov’s Dances with Piano…, Giant Empty for John Jasperse and Jean Genet’s The Blacks - Market Theatre of Johannesburg. Associated with Theatre Projects Consultants. Visiting professor of dance lighting at U.C.L.A., 1992-94. Resident Lighting Czar. Lincoln Center Festival 1996- present. Television credits: Bravo’s Inside the Actor’s Studio, Two Moon July for PBS, Night Music for WHYY-TV Philadelphia, Airdance for Live From Off-Center and Goodnight Alice for Lincoln Center.
