Ted Ohl is a founding partner of Pook Diemont & Ohl, Inc. Established in 1982, PDO specializes in the manufacture and installation of stage machinery systems for performance facilities. In addition to managing the daily operations of the firm, Ted is responsible for defining marketing strategies, including product and project development. As a “hands on” working partner, Ted actively monitors the progress of each project from signing of contract through completion.
Prior to co-founding PDO, Ted served as the Director of The Stage Department at The Juilliard School in Lincoln Center. He has also worked as the Technical Director and Production Manager of the Santa Fe Opera, Santa Fe, New Mexico, and the Spoleto Festival in Charleston, SC.
Current projects include the renovation of Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall, NYC, the new MGM Grand Theater at Foxwoods, the renovation of the Arena Stage in Washington, DC, and the new August Wilson Center in Pittsburgh.
