Shawn Nolan has worked extensively throughout the entertainment industry.  His experience ranges from regional theatre to projects in NYC and Las Vegas.  His work includes structural and mechanical analysis and design for show equipment, permanent rigging installations, stunts and special effects. 
            As a Technical Director, equipment designer, Professional Engineer and automation and effects designer, Shawn Nolan has devoted his adult life to the entertainment industry.  He has always had a passion for detailed, focused and rational problem solving relating to the myriad challenges that appear on the entertainment industry horizon.  "There is no other industry as vibrant, as dynamic or filled with as many unique individuals as this one.  I would not change jobs for anything in the world."
           Shawn is a member of the Entertainment Services Technology Association (ESTA), the United States Institute for Theatre Technology (USITT) and the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).  He is an ETCP Certified Rigger Arena/Theatre.  He also contributes extensive time to the development of ESTA driven ANSI standards including Powered Rigging and Outdoor Aluminum Truss Structures.
