Scott Crossfield is an Associate in the Theatre Design Department in Theatre Projects Consultants' (TPC) Connecticut office. Scott is experienced in all aspects of the design and construction of performing arts facilities, having consulted on over 200 projects in the United States and abroad. As a senior theatre designer, his work includes: theatre concept design, planning and programming theatre buildings, site assessment, and participation in feasibility studies. Projects
Experience Prior to joining TPC, Scott was a partner of Davis Crossfield Associates, Theater Consulting Services of New York City. At DCA Scott was responsible for all aspects of theatre consulting including programming; auditorium, stage and support space design; seating and sightlines; code analysis; technical theatre equipment design and specification; coordination of architectural and engineering disciplines, and project management. Scott has made significant contributions to the following projects:
Scott is a member of the American Society of Theatre Consultants. He is the ASTC representative to the ICC/ANSI A117.1 Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities Committee. Scott is also a member of the United States Institute of Theater Technology. He lectures frequently on Theater Architecture. |
