Leigh Stanton Breslau, AIA
Leigh Breslau leads the Arts and Assembly Design Studio at the architecture, urban design and engineering firm of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP in Chicago. The Arts and Assembly Studio has been involved in performing arts projects for over 20 years. Projects include Symphony Center in Chicago, the Lyric Opera of Chicago, and the Ravinia Festival as well as LG Art Hall in Seoul, and renovations of the San Francisco Opera and Davis Symphony Hall. Recently the studio has completed master plans for the renovation of Avery Fisher and Carnegie Halls in New York for the New York Philharmonic, and architectural, engineering and planning services for Millennium Park in Chicago. The studio is currently designing a new performing arts center with Schulershook Theater Consultants and JaffeeHolden Acoustics for the city of Dallas. His involvement in theatre also includes set design for productions of Uncle Vanya and Titus Andronicus at the Court Theatre in Chicago, and next season he will be designing Ibsen's The Wild Duck. The studio has worked with many of the leading theatre and acoustical consultants in the U.S. and abroad.
