Complimentary NY City Harbor Cruise on the Zephyr

Saturday July 19, 2008
7:30pm-10:30pm
South Street Seaport Pier 16

The NATEAC Harbor Cruise on the Zephyr includes one complimentary beverage, passed h’ors d’oeuvres, appetizer & antipasto buffet, coffee and desserts. There will be a cash bar and live music by the Ella Csircsu Trio.

Departing from Pier 16 at the South Street Seaport and sailing up the Hudson and East Rivers in Manhattan, Zephyr glides by historic sites such as the Empire State Building, the Chrysler Building, the Brooklyn Bridge, the Colgate Clock, Statue of Liberty National Monument and the Ellis Island Immigration Museum. Three impeccable decks - the sun deck, the mid-deck and the main deck - offer magnificent skyline views from different perspectives.

In addition to spending 3 hours cruising around the most recognizable skyline in the world, we will also have the opportunity to view the brand new Waterfall Art exhibit. The New York City Waterfalls is a major new work of temporary public art by internationally acclaimed artist Olafur Eliasson. Commissioned by the Public Art Fund, the project consists of four monumental, man-made waterfalls installed for three months at four sites along the shores of Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Governors Island. The 90 to 120-foot tall installations, which have been designed to protect water quality and aquatic life, will be lit after sunset, adding a striking element to New York City's iconic skyline.
